
Socially Intelligent Communication
In this fast-paced intensive, participants will be exposed to the core concepts of Socially Intelligent Communication by a Master Trainer of SoTelligence™. Utilizing context specific scenarios and vignettes, class participants enjoy interactive demonstrations with the Instructor that will expose them to
- research that show that 67-85% of our competencies in the workplace are related to our social and emotional competencies, not our IQ (intelligence quotient);
- the different types of intelligences and how they contribute to our abilities to lead;
- how our senses inform us about our environment and contribute to our decision making behaviors;
- what Human Technology is and why socially intelligent leaders want to know how to be a Human Technologist;
- the different ways to verbally communicate or respond and how each contributes to effective leadership communication;
- what nonverbal communication skills are and how they contribute to successful leadership communication;
- the importance of observation and listening skills and how their senses (e.g., sight, hearing) contribute to how they behave as leaders;
- the impact of emotion on the ability to lead;
- what an emotion vocabulary is and how it can contribute to successful conflict negotiation;
- the basics for socially intelligent confrontation.
